Brew92 was soft-launched in July 2016 in Jeddah by Abdul Aziz Al-Musbahi (after years studying in London, where he was mentored by his favorite London cafe owner) and business partner Hussain Ibrahim. The name references the optimal 92°C brewing water temperature. In 2018 the team paid $105/lb for Gori Gesha at the Gesha Village Coffee Estate auction in Ethiopia — at the time the highest price ever paid for African beans.
The most internationally visible Saudi specialty roaster. The 2018 Gori Gesha auction win put Saudi specialty coffee on the global map at a moment when the Kingdom was just opening to third-wave culture, and the SCA-trained team has set the bar for barista development in the country.
